1. Martin Varsavsky on Silicon Valley

    I enjoyed watching Martin Varsavsky’s rant on Silicon Valley.  Martin sums up his position on America rather elegantly: “USA has a credit card and China as a debit card.”  (You’ll have to watch the video for the context.)  Jokes aside, he does make some pretty good points about Europe.  And even Google is on board

    While there are lots of reasons to be based in Europe (and many more reasons to be based in Silicon Valley) a couple points from Martin’s talk did resonate with me: 1) You can find good people everywhere and 2) You have to build global company anyway.  Enjoy the video if you have time to watch it (here).
